About the Program

A Practical Look at CPET in Cardiovascular Care

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing, or CPET, is an invaluable tool for evaluating patients with cardiovascular disease. While CPET can provide important insight into a patient’s functional capacity, symptoms and cardiopulmonary physiology, interpretation of the data can sometimes be complex and challenging.

This webinar will provide a concise overview of CPET fundamentals, followed by adult and pediatric case-based discussions. Attendees will hear from experts in adult congenital heart disease, exercise science, cardiology, pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology as they discuss real-world applications of CPET across the age spectrum.

Learning Highlights

What Attendees Will Learn

This session is designed to help attendees better understand how CPET can support cardiovascular evaluation, interpretation and care decisions.

  • Basic indications and physiology behind cardiopulmonary exercise testing
  • How CPET can be used in evaluating patients with cardiovascular disease
  • Key considerations when reviewing and applying CPET results
  • Adult and pediatric applications through practical case-based discussion
  • How multidisciplinary insight can support interpretation and care decisions
