2025 Annual Meeting: Call for Abstracts

Abstract Competition Deadline: Friday, August 29

Are you a current cardiology Fellow in Training (FIT), CV Team member, medical student or resident? The Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (TCACC) invites you to submit an abstract for the 8th Annual Abstract Competition, which will take place during the TCACC Annual Meeting on October 11–12.

Who Can Submit: 

  • Current cardiology Fellows in Training
  • Residents in internal medicine, pediatrics or combined programs
  • CV Team members with faculty (RN, NP, CNS, PA, PharmD, researchers)
  • Medical students (includes graduate, undergraduate and high school) who partner with faculty/FIT or other CV Team member 

Don’t meet these criteria? You may still submit a case or research project if you partner with an eligible presenter who will present an abstract at the meeting!

Submit Your Abstract 

Abstract Guidelines:

  1. Only one (1) abstract per person may be submitted.
  2. Word limit: 350 words (single-spaced), including title, authors, introduction, methods, results and conclusions.
  3. Clinical research and case reports are welcome.
  4. Abstracts must be submitted online (Email, mail or fax submissions will not be accepted).
  5. Prior presentation at a local or national meeting is allowed.
  6. There is no fee to submit, but accepted presenters must register for the Annual Meeting.

Notifications:

Authors will be notified by Friday, September 12, if their abstract is accepted.

Awards:

Awards will be presented for top posters at the conclusion of the meeting on Sunday, October 12.
